The Acolyte Carp Waggler 11ft is a great choice for short to medium range work on com­mer­cial fish­eries with wag­glers and pellet wag­glers up to around 10g.

The blank of the Ultra 12ft Feeder is super slim but, importantly, maintains enough backbone to cast long distances with greater accuracy. It also has a great parabolic fish-playing action to cushion fish of all sizes, from roach and skimmers to F1s and small carp. The extra length of the 12ft model will be particularly favoured by bream anglers on stillwaters. It will also enable river anglers to keep the rod nice and high to reduce the amount of line affected by the flow. Three super-slim, push-in carbon tips of 2oz, 2.5oz and 3oz are supplied. Each has been designed to taper perfectly with the blank and will also interchange between the entire Acolyte Feeder family if required. Being a two-piece rod ensures that it can be easily folded in half for ease of transportation in a Rod Case or Sleeve. A pair of Neoprene rod socks and a retaining band is also included to help protect such a quality item.

Our team of experts have also spent plenty of time perfecting a family of super-slim tips that blend in perfectly with the blank. The Acolyte Ultra 10ft comes with 1oz, 1.5oz and 2oz push-in tips as standard. Usefully, these will interchange between the entire Acolyte Feeder family. The rod’s two-piece construction ensures that it can also be quickly and easily folded in half for ease of transportation in a Rod Case or Sleeve. The 11ft (3.35m) length is the perfect all-round choice for ease of both casting and playing fish on a wide variety of venues. The rod has more power than the 11ft Ultra Feeder, which makes it an ideal choice for quality fish like bream, tench, chub, carp and F1s. However, the smooth, parabolic playing action still copes really well when reeling in smaller silverfish. The slim, crisp and responsive blank cuts through the air and offers optimum casting accuracy. The cast is further enhanced by stand-off SiC guides that are deliberately spaced to help the line travel through them as smoothly as possible. This rod is ideal when matched to feeders up to 60g (2oz) and will easily cope with ranges up to 50 metres. Greater distances are achievable with sensibly balanced tackle and a good casting technique. The 11ft Plus comes with three push-in carbon tips of 2oz, 2.5oz and 3oz. These super-slim tips have been designed to blend perfectly with the rod blank. The rod can be neatly folded away into two sections, so it can be carried to the bankside in a Rod Sleeve or Rod Case and assembled in seconds. A useful set of Neoprene rod socks and a rod-retaining band are also included to help keep everything secure and protected in transit. The Acolyte Plus 11ft Feeder has taken almost two years of field-testing, refining and perfecting by our dedicated team of experts. The result is a rod that casts like a dream and allows you to play fish with confidence.

It comes with three low diameter carbon tips of 1.5oz, 2oz and 2.5oz that each blend in perfectly with the blank. The rod also packs away neatly into two sections for ease of transport in a Rod Sleeve or Rod Case. Useful Neoprene rod socks and a rod-retaining band are also included to help protect and keep everything together in transit. The Acolyte Ultra 11ft Feeder has been extensively field-tested and has taken considerable time to develop and perfect – but the finished product has been worth the wait!

These super slim, high modulus carbon feeder tips blend in perfectly with Drennan Acolyte Feeder rod blanks. A progressive, slow taper combined with a parabolic action leads to enhanced bite detection. The extra slim carbon used produces a significantly lighter Feeder Tip with less tip bounce and faster recovery when compared to the equivalent in glass. These tips have impressive sensitivity and are a real aid to bite detection. Acolyte Feeder Tips have accurately quoted test curves and are only interchangeable with the current range of Acolyte Ultra Feeder and Acolyte Plus Feeder rods.
